Synopsis

Kenneth Branagh directs this semi-autobiographical drama set in troubled Northern Ireland in the summer of 1969. Buddy is a nine-year-old boy living with his family in a working-class area of Belfast. His world of joy, play and innocence is disrupted when Protestants begin to attack the Catholic community in his neighbourhood.
